Year 12 through to County Cup Final

Congratulations to the Year 12 team who made it through to the U17 Kent Cup Final after a nail biting 4-2 victory against Hayes School, Bromley.  Having gone 2-0 down within 8 minutes the team (who won the Kent Cup in Year 10) showed unbelievable determination in fighting back to secure a Final spot against either Ravensbourne, Bromley or Hayesbrook School, Tonbridge. Goals from Miller (2), MacKenzie and Erricker led the boys to victory. The final will now be played in term 4 at Deal Town FC.

DGSB Rowers bring home the silverware

The DGSB Indoor Rowing teams achieved podium positions on four of the five year groups at the recent Kent Schools Championships. Pride of place went to the Year 10 team who romped to victory against a strong Kings School team.  The Year 8s and 9s both achieved silver medals with the Year 11s achieving a bronze medal. Well done to all of the rowers who took part.
