HOW MANY BOOKS CAN I BORROW?
|Years 7 - 11||Up to three books|
|Years 12 - 13||Upt to six books|
Books can be kept for up to two weeks.
Books used for year projects are limited to a short loan, one night or weekend.
Books may be renewed if not required by other pupils or staff members.
A wide selection is available covering most subject areas.
The Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Guardian and i etc.

Ten networked computers are available with laser printer and photocopier.
Key stage 3 paperback and hardback titles are available in the corridor area, with Middle and Key Stage 4, 5 and Staff fiction located in the adjacent Fiction Room.
If shelved, the books are arranged in alphabetical order by surname of the author, e.g. "Only You Can Save Mankind" by Terry Pratchett, which can be found on the shelf under F/PRA.

These are arranged using the Dewey Decimal System. (Dewey Decimal Classification Guide)
Each subject has its own allocated number and section.
Follow the steps 1 - 3.
1. Look up your subject in the alphabetical subject index.
2. Beside each subject you will see a number.
3. Follow the shelf guiding until you find the number you want. The book spines also act as a guide.
BOOK REQUESTS AND SUGGESTIONS
Always ask if you cannot find the book or section you need.
Books may already be out on loan, but available at a later date. Fill in a request form and you will be informed when the resources become available.
Suggestions for book stock are always welcome.
