Pegwell Bay Fieldwork Day

On Friday 7th June we took 24 year 12 students to the Pegwell Bay Reserve SSSI to investigate the effect of salinity on the distribution of species on the saltmarsh. Armed with quadrats, sampling bottles, meter tapes and wellies the students gathered their data amongst the gullies and dykes that traverse the marsh. Each one was a credit to DGSB as commented on by various members of the public including a local businessman who made us all cake at the end of the day! They were all an absolute pleasure to take and be with. Well done all of you!
