PFA

We are very pleased that your son is at, or coming, to our school and we welcome him and you, to the school family.

The Parents and Friends Association exists to raise funds to provide more facilities for the school, to arrange social events and help at various school functions.

Over the years, we have provided many ‘extras’ through our fund raising. We have recently helped fund a new cricket wicket, which will be available for the boys next season. We also help provide computer equipment and Sport Team Strips, as well as financial support for a wide range of sporting and extra-curricular activities. All the money we raise is used for the benefit of the boys and the school.

We provide help at events such as Sports Day, Open Evenings and Concerts. We also run a shop for second-hand items of uniform and sell new T-shirts.

Other activities include Quiz Nights, Fireworks and BBQ and a Christmas or Summer Draw. Draw tickets are sent home with all the pupils, and we ask for your support by selling the tickets to your family and friends.

The PFA runs a successful 200 club and we encourage you to support this by completing and returning the form enclosed.

We are always looking for volunteers to serve on the PFA committee and we are especially pleased to welcome parents of new boys. Don’t wait to be asked – just fill in the attached form, return it to school and we will notify you of the next meeting. Alternatively look out for more information in the Focus newsletter.
