Student Welfare Officer
Required for March 2018 or sooner
KR4 FTE £16,968 - £17,826 (Pro rata 39 weeks)
We are looking to appoint a student welfare officer to provide excellent pastoral support to our students. The role can be hugely rewarding and would suit someone who enjoys working with children and has excellent communication skills.
This is an exciting time to join DGSB. We achieve very good GCSE results and the most recent OFSTED report confirmed that we are a good school. We also hope to soon be embarking on the first stage of a major re-development project as part of the Priority Schools Building Programme. This will enable us to design a brand new learning environment with facilities that provide an exceptional education for our students.
If you are passionate about working with young people, relish a challenge and feel you have the necessary skills for this post and would like more information then please contact Sophie Tourki, Headteacher’s PA on 01304-216810, or alternatively email firstname.lastname@example.org
Applications should include a completed application form and supporting letter.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and expect all staff to share in this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo appropriate child protection screening including an enhanced DBS check.
Dover Grammar School for Boys is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
The closing date for applications is:
